Bridget has been dancing, teaching and performing for the last 10 years in American Smooth and Latin, social Country Western but has focused specifically on Social Street Salsa and social Latin dancing in the last 5 years. She enjoys using her technique learned in the ballroom dance world to enable her students to keep up with the ever increasing difficulty of Salsa dance while still maintaining the fun, earthy street style seen in the social venues. She enjoys getting her students ready for anything; social dancing, performance and competition!
Renee Leon
Renee has been dancing and teaching salsa for 9 years and performs with husband and dance partner, Mauricio Leon. Through her many years of working with Up With People, Renee has worked intimately with a variety of international cultural dance forms, and is known for incorporating elements of various dance styles into her salsa, enhancing both the music and her partner. Reneé is an exceptional choreographer and teacher sought out locally for salsa performance and competition routines, wedding dances, musicals, Quinsineras and much more.
Molly McClellan
Co-Director, TribalTique Tribal Belly Dance Company
Molly began her belly dance training in South Florida, studying under Maja, girl from the Nile, and was hooked. She continued her studies in the American Tribal Style (ATS) format under Megha Gavin of Devyani, when she moved to New Orleans in 2001. After leaving New Orleans for Denver, Molly met Julia DiVerdi, and in the Summer of 2004 they joined forces to create a new experiment in Tribal Belly Dance, TribalTique. The two since have been an unstoppable force in the local and national Tribal Belly Dance Scene. With over 10 years of instruction and performance experience, Molly is a sought-after instructor who has taught sold out workshops locally and at national events and festivals. Molly has completed the General Skills Certification with Carolena Nericcio of FatChanceBellyDance, and is also a RYT (registered yoga teacher), and is accredited through the Yoga Alliance.
Molly is constantly inspired by the strength, beauty, camaraderie, fluidity and grace that Tribal Belly Dance encourages and nurtures.
Stephanie Shank
Stephanie Shank has a passion for fitness, dance, and exploring other cultures. With a BA in exercise science and countless certifications, she has taught group exercise classes for over 5 years, including Zumba® (a Latin dance fitness class) and now Masala Bhangra Workout® . Stephanie began performing Hip Hop dance at a professional level after 6 months of lessons. She performed Indian, African, and Hip Hop dance in the "Earth Month Fashion Gala & Greenie Awards" event in Colorado Springs. Stephanie was trained and certified in the Masala Bhangra Workout® by its founder and creator, Sarina Jain. Her students enjoy her energy, cueing techniques, and entertaining personality.
Steve Felderman
Steve Felderman is from Reno NV where he learned to dance Ballroom, Lindy and West Coast Swing and became highly involved with the swing world. In 1995 Steve started DJing the local West Coast Swing club in Reno and held weekly dances and taught swing classes for over 10 years for the community center. In 2005, Steve moved to Denver with his family and continued to DJ for the Rocky Mountain Swing Club’s West Coast Swing socials. Being highly active in the WCS scene, Steve has developed a large repertoire of popular swing songs, both new and classical, and incorporates a variety of Country 2 Step, Cha Cha, Nightclub 2 Step and Hustle into the Saturday West Coast Swing socials at Motion En Fuego.
Joseph Snowhawk:
Joseph Snowhawk has been teaching dance in Denver for more than 15 years. Joseph began his teaching career at Arthur Murray Dance Studios. Soon he began to establish an independent following. After leaving Arthur Murray, Joseph began teaching in recreation centers, and wherever else he could find space. Over time, he honed his style and further developed a reputation as a patient dance instructor who makes learning fun.
